The IsDB-IRTI Islamic Finance Advisory and Technical Assistance (IFATA) Program has helped over 40 countries to date in their pursuit of developing their Islamic finance industry. Through IFATA’s expert advisory and tailored grant-financed projects, Islamic finance industry is now present across all six-habitable continents of the world. Since 2013, IsDB-IRTI through IFATA has approved over USD$14 million in grant financing projects for developing both IsDB member and non-member countries Islamic finance sectors. The IFATA Program has also directly contributed to the issuance of more than 125 global Islamic finance benchmark technical standards and guiding principles through six Islamic finance standard-setting infrastructure institutions.
