As the first participation bank in Turkey, Albaraka Turk continues to provide innovative solutions to the financing needs of companies. With an active role in lease certificate issuances, which is one of the capital markets instruments that attracts more and more attention recently, Albaraka Turk continues to expand its targets in the field of lease certificates with a newly established asset leasing company.

Albaraka Turk aims to bring the companies that need financing together with local and international investors

According to TKBB's data, Albaraka Turk issued the highest number of lease certificates last year with a volume that is worth TRY 13 billion and successfully established its asset-leasing company that it started in 2020. Preparing to mediate the lease certificate issuance of companies with its subsidiary titled "Değer Varlık Kiralama Şirketi" (Value Asset Leasing Company), the Bank aims to bring the companies that need financing together with local and international investors.

Talking about the newly-established company, Albaraka Turk General Manager Melikşah Utku stated that, "In order to bring solutions to the companies' search for alternative resources as Albaraka Turk, we aim to act as a bridge in the access of companies to capital markets with the experience that we have gained in lease certificate issuances, as well as our traditional financing support and other products, for the real sector companies in need of funds. The companies meeting the fundamental criteria such as the balance sheet size, legal status of the company, and compliance with the principles of participation banking in their activity areas can apply to Albaraka Turk branches for further information on the subject, and we can assess them for issuing lease certificates.
