Kuveyt Turk held its 2021 general assembly meeting with the participation of senior management and shareholders by taking the necessary pandemic measures. The information on the financial performance and financial statements for 2020 was shared with the shareholders, and expectations for 2021 were evaluated.

Kuveyt Turk held its 2021 ordinary general assembly meeting at the bank's headquarter with the participation of senior management and shareholders under a seating arrangement complying with the pandemic conditions. Some of the senior management and shareholders also attended the meeting online. Information on the 2020 financial performance and financial statements were shared, and the expectations for 2021 were evaluated in the meeting.

Speaking at the general assembly meeting, Ufuk Uyan, the General Manager of Kuveyt Turk said, "We continued to add value to the savings of our shareholders with our strong capital structure and dynamic understanding of corporate management in a year when the macroeconomic outlook and the global economic activity had a fluctuating course due to the pandemic. We will continue to focus on products and services for our foreign trade customers to effectively add foreign funds to the real sector with an aim of over 20% growth in the funds that we will provide in 2021. We also want to increase the sectoral diversity on financing in 2021, especially by incorporating agriculture, tourism, and energy industries.
