Kuveyt Turk Launches Remote Customer Service

Kuveyt Turk Participation Bank starts the period of becoming a remote customer through video calls with the legal regulation expected to enter into force on May 1, 2021.

Persons wanting to become Kuveyt Turk customers will be able to become customers remotely through video calls without the need of going to the branch in the new period. It will be sufficient for the applicants to have their new type of identity cards with them in the process of becoming customers through remote communication, where Turkish citizens over the age of 18 residing in Turkey can apply. The process of becoming a remote customer can be performed via smartphones with the NFC feature. In the process of becoming a remote customer that does not require a wet signature, a current account will be opened automatically, and Kuveyt Turk Sağlam Cash Card will be sent to the stated address.

Mehmet Oral, Executive Vice President in charge of Retail Banking at Kuveyt Turk, stated that with the increase in digitalization, customers' expectations regarding financial transactions have also changed. Pointing out that customers now want to perform the transactions they wish from wherever they want in the safest and fastest way, Mehmet Oral said, "While doing all these, customers demand solutions that will allow them to perform their banking transactions remotely, without any cost, easily and smartly.

Through this new service that we call the method of becoming a customer without a mask, distance, and hardship, we bring the convenience of becoming a Kuveyt Turk customer within a few minutes as close as your phone. After the remote account opening, we aim to provide a smooth digital experience to our customers who can use all the advantages of Kuveyt Turk Mobile. We will continue to improve Kuveyt Turk Mobile by adding new features".
