The Funds Allocated by Participation Banks to Commercial Customers Reached TRY 239 Billion
Funds allocated by participation banks to commercial customers reached TRY 239 billion (AA). Türkiye Participation Banks Association (TKBB) announced that the funds allocated to commercial customers reached TRY 239 billion with an increase of 71 percent by the end of July.
The following statement was made by the TKBB on its Twitter account: "In these days when economies of all countries are weakened, supply chains are experiencing disruptions, global inflationary pressures and increasing uncertainty, we keep offering the necessary support to our country's economy as participation banks." Considering the 7-month period left behind since the beginning of 2022, it was shared in the statement that the funds allocated to commercial customers reached TRY 239 billion with an increase of 71 percent and the funds allocated to SMEs reached TRY 112 billion with an increase of 77 percent. The statement also said, "Our participation banks will keep offering the necessary support that the economy of our country needs in an uninterrupted manner in line with national economic strategies and regulations."
