Türkiye Finans and HT Solar Energy Cooperation!

Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası signed a cooperation protocol with HT Solar Energy to contribute to the financing of renewable energy investments.

Through this protocol with the solar panel manufacturer HT Solar, the bank will help investors who want to set up land and rooftop solar energy power plants access the financing they need under suitable, fast and easy conditions. The management teams of both parties came together in Türkiye Finans head office to sign the cooperation protocol.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Murat Altun, Türkiye Finans Corporate Banking Sales Director, pointed out the importance of energy supply security and diversity in Turkey and stated that they give their full support to renewable energy investments for reducing foreign dependency in energy and environmental sustainability.

Talking about the 356 MW renewable energy projects financed by the bank, Altun said, “We have, so far, provided TRY 3.27 billion worth of financing to these projects. We aim to finance 250 MW of the installed power of rooftop solar power plants within the next few years. The entire world is investing in renewable energies and energy storage areas instead of fossil energy sources today; and we closely monitor these global developments and trends in our bank and build our vision on this future. We will continue to support environmental sustainability with contributions to the financing of clean energy resources.”

Bao Yue, General Manager of HT Solar Energy, stated that they contributed to the better use of Turkey's solar energy potential with the vision of a sustainable environment.
