3 Awards by IDC to Kuveyt Türk

Kuveyt Türk received awards in 3 different categories at the IDC Turkey Finance Sector Technology Awards with its innovative products and services.

According to the statement made by the bank, at the award ceremony held under the IDC Finance Summit 2021, Kuveyt Türk won the gold award with its XTM concept that brings together branch services and ATM practically, and also offers services for the hearing impaired through sign language and the silver award with the Digital Explorer product that it has developed to provide children with financial literacy skills and a culture of savings. A 100% subsidiary of Kuveyt Türk, Architect was awarded with the first prize with its Airplatform solution.

Developed in 2013 with a team entirely of local engineers at the bank's R&D centers, XTM offers many financial services such as opening an account via video call, sales of banking products, and retail and commercial applications.

In 2018, the sign language service for the hearing impaired was added to XTM that had English and Arabic language options in addition to Turkish. Allowing hearing-impaired customers to perform banking transactions by connecting to an expert at the call center who knows sign language with a single click and aiming to create a social awareness for overcoming obstacles, the XTM device won the first prize at the IDC Turkey Finance Sector Technology Awards in the field of Non-digital Channels.
