Albaraka Türk supported the Andalusia Reading Project for the development of young people.

According to the bank's statement, Albaraka Türk continues to make a difference with the value it attaches to education and students by supporting the activities of the Andalusia Reading Project, whose main purpose is 'raising readers'.

The project was first implemented in Van in the 2016-2017 academic year and is currently being implemented in 186 schools in 22 provinces.

The project, which consists of volunteer teachers and aims to builda reading culture, virtue and moralityalong with reading habits, is based on a student psychology-centered approach.

In the project, psychological techniques used by big companies to create brand value are applied to create a love and habit of reading in students. With one of these techniques, 'Unconscious Motivation', sensory and emotional integration is created by bringing books and reading together with positive emotions and behaviors that evoke good feelings in the senses and students.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, 15 thousand 916 students participated in the project across Turkey and read 180 thousand 715 books in total.

Dr. Ömer Emeç, Deputy General Manager in charge of Strategy and Transformation at Albaraka Türk, stated that people will continue to learn throughout their lives and added: "It is obvious that the leaders who made a difference throughout history and had high perceptions had high reading habits. As Albaraka Türk, contributing to the development of students beyond the financial support we provide to education is invaluable for us. We hope that the Andalusia Reading Project will be beneficial to our country and raise students who will continue to learn throughout their lives.
