Kuveyt Turk Has Become a Member of FCI

Kuveyt Turk has become the "first participation finance institution" from Turkey to join FCI, which was established to contribute to the development of international trade volume, supports forward exports, and has nearly 400 members in more than 90 countries.

According to the statement made by the bank, Kuveyt Turk has become a member of FCI, the umbrella organization of financial institutions that provide guarantee and collection services for export receivables against goods. By means of the new product that will be offered under the name of "International Supply Chain Financing", Kuveyt Turk will not only provide financing services to its customers performing export in cash against goods but will also begin to guarantee their export receivables and offer collection services. Kuveyt Turk will provide all its exporting corporate customers with a comprehensive service that combines collection management, export receivables guarantee, and financing products for overseas forward sales of goods and services.

We support our export companies by developing innovative solutions for their needs

Sharing his views in the statement, Dr. R. Ahmet Albayrak, Executive Vice President in charge of Treasury and International Banking at Kuveyt Turk, said, "We see our exporters as a dynamo of our country's economy and a locomotive that activates other sectors. We advance by focusing on production, export, and investment, and support our strategically important export companies by developing innovative solutions for their needs.

We are glad to demonstrate once again that we stand by our exporters through our FCI membership that will guarantee our exporters' receivables from foreign countries and enable us to provide collection services. Being the first participation finance institution in Turkey to perform these transactions in line with the principles of interest-free finance, which is a breakthrough in Turkey, can be expressed as an indicator of the importance we attach to our exporters. We will continue to stand by our exporters by developing new products and services."
