We Continue To Take Part In Every Field Our Farmers Need

As participation finance institutions, we con- tinue our strategy based on the Turkish Econ- omy Model. At this point, in the agriculture sector, as in other sectors, we continue to work day and night for investment, employ- ment, exports, strengthening the efficient and competitive domestic production struc- ture, reducing import dependency, achiev- ing permanent price stability, improving the business and investment environment, and most importantly, sustainable agricultural activities in accordance with green economy doctrines.

As the Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB), we attach great importance to green transformation in areas such as the protection of clean water basins and the expansion of agricultural areas, which are among the issues we prioritize. Considering

the environmental and social development priorities of climate change, we will continue to diversify our investments in this direction.

Especially after the pandemic, we have all observed how severe the effects of the deterioration in the supply chain are on food and agricultural inputs. I would like to state that we, as participation finance institutions, approach this issue with particular sensi- tivity and care, in an environment where food inflation affects the whole world as a result of rising energy and input costs.

As the participation finance sector, we continue to increase our market share in widespread financing transactions with the advantageous payment conditions we provide to our farmers and farmer card applications. We continue to be present in every field that our farmers need during the year, particularly with TARSİM (State Supported Agricultural Insurance), agricultural POS applications, as well as commercial card areas that fund the purchase of diesel, fertilizer, pesticides, agricultural equipment, seeds and seedlings needed in agricultural activities and cards that allow the payment to be postponed until the harvest period.

In the remaining period of 2022, we will maintain our firm stand to increase our product diversity by considering the demands of our farmers, who are the apple of our country's eyes.
