Syntonym Receives an Investment of USD 390 Thousand

Syntonym, one of the successful startups of the Albaraka Garaj Acceleration Program in 2020 and developing the "Synthetic Data Anonymization" technology, received an investment of USD 390 thousand in the seed investment round. The technology developed ensures that visual data collection and processing procedures that are very important for the development of autonomous vehicles and smart city technologies are operated in line with the regulations on the protection of personal data and in a way that meets the privacy expectations of individuals. 

Led by the founders Batuhan Özcan and Emra Çavunt, the Syntonym team was the most supported startup at the Big Bang Start-up Challenge stage organized by İTÜ Arı Teknokent's Incubation Center İTÜ Çekirdek. Syntonym, one of the successful startups of the PILOT, Türk Telekom's venture acceleration program, and Albaraka Garaj Acceleration Program in 2020, was awarded the grand prize of the Mercedes-Benz StartUP 2021 competition in the "Transportation Solutions" category last week.

A signature ceremony was held at Albaraka headquarters regarding this investment tour.
