According to the bank's statement, with his 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Akşam, who began his career in Türkiye Finans as the Deputy General Manager of Commercial Banking in May 2017, also became a member of the board of directors and the deputy general manager on February 21, 2020.

Akşam also continues to be a member of the board of directors in the bank along with his newly assigned position. After his inclusion in the Türkiye Finans family in 2017, Akşam transformed the commercial banking processes of the bank with an innovative and customer-oriented approach. Who Is Murat Akşam?

After graduating from the Department of Management Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Murat Akşam started his career as a sales representative at Beko in 1991 and continued as a regional manager at Ram Dış Ticaret in the 1993-1997 period. After working in the loaning department and as a loan allocation manager at TEB in 1997, Akşam then worked as a corporate loans manager between 2000-2005 and became corporate and commercial loan allocation director in 2005-2014. Then he became the corporate banking group director at the same bank in 2014. He joined the Türkiye Finans family as the deputy general manager of commercial banking on May 2, 2017.
