Ziraat Katılım has made a net profit of TRY 125 million in the first quarter of 2021. According to the statement of Ziraat Katılım, the bank's total assets reached TRY 63.3 billion in the first quarter of the year with an increase of 5% compared to the end of the last year.
The funds collected have reached TRY 48.2 billion with an increase of 4% compared to the same period. While the cash funds allocated have increased to TRY 44.5 billion, the total cash and non-cash financing provided by Ziraat Katılım to the Turkish Economy in the first quarter of the year was realized as TRY 62.9 billion.
The issuance of 7 lease certificates was completed in the first quarter of the year.
Metin Özdemir, General Manager of Ziraat Katılım, stated that the issuance of 7 lease certificates was successfully completed in the first quarter of the year. Özdemir said, "A funding of TRY 2.7 billion was obtained from these issuances that were realized through Ziraat Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ. A demand of more than the issuance amount was received from qualified investors for all lease certificate issuances. In addition, Ziraat Katılım realized lease certificate issuance indexed to the inflation for the first time in this quarter, and the amount of this issuance was TRY 250 million.
The first publicly-funded participation bank of Turkey, Ziraat Katılım has reached a total volume of TRY 28 billion through the issuance of 79 lease certificates to qualified investors since its foundation in 2015.
